1. 유의사항
○ 신발이 상대방의 몸에 닿는 일은 피하며, 카스트 제도는 법률상으로 이미 폐지 되었지만, 아직도 사회생활의 전반을 지배하고 있음을 감안할 필요가 있음
○ 야간에 홀로 외출하는 것은 범죄행위에 노출될 우려가 있으므로 자제 요망
○ 호텔을 제외한 일반 건물의 화장실에는 휴지가 없으므로 휴지를 반드시 지참

○ 봉사료의 경우 호텔 포터는 짐의 크기에 따라 20-30루피, 방청소의 경우 20 루피, 식당에서는 식사인원에 따라 10-50루피를 지급하는 것이 적당하나 외국인의 경우 100루피 정도의 팁이 일반적
○ 서인도는 열대 몬순지역으로 6월부터 9월까지 많은 비와 높은 온도로 인하여 병에 전염될 수 있으며, 특히 감기의 경우 고열과 한기가 반복되어 약을 먹더라도 1주일 정도 거동이 어려운 점을 감안하여 체류기간 동안 건강에 주의
(특히 호텔 투숙시 에어컨 온도를 적당한 수준으로 유지하여 감기에 걸리는일이 없도록 유의)
○ 체질에 따라 물갈이를 심하게 하는 사람은 체류 시 꼭 끓인 물을 섭취하고 국내에서 복용하고 있는 약이 있을 경우 출장기간 동안 복용

○ 상대방의 직위나 나이가 높은 경우 Sir, Madam이라는 존칭을 사용
선물
○ 선물포장은 흰색, 검정색을 피하고 녹색, 빨간색, 노란색으로 하는 것이 일반적 이고, 초대 받았을 경우 초콜릿, 꽃 등의 작은 선물을 준비하되 경조사 발생시 현금을 주는 경우에는 해당 금액이 홀수로 끝나야 함
복장
○ 더운 날씨로 인해 양복 상의와 넥타이는 생략하는 경우가 많으며 IT 분야의

4. 출국 시 유의사항
