□ 아그라 지역 (델리에서 편도 4시간 소요)
○ Taj Mahal(타지 마할)
- 타지마할은 아그라 신시가지 동쪽 야무나 강변에 위치함.
무굴제국의 왕인 샤 자한이 15번째 아이를 낳다가 1629
년 사망한 부인 뭄타즈 마할을 기리기 위해 1631년부터
짓기 시작하여 22년만인 1653년에 완공
- 이란 출신의 우스타드 이샤(Ustad Isa)에 의해 설계가 완
성되었고 터키, 이탈리아, 프랑스 출신의 2만여 명의 장인
들이 건설에 참여함.
* 건축자재의 운반을 위해 천여 마리의 코끼리 사용
- 가로 300m, 세로 530m의 거대한 정문은 붉은 사암으로 만들어졌고, 정문의 아치를 빠
져나가면 넓은 마당에 수로 (水路)를 둔 전형적인 무굴 양식의 정원과 분수가 펼쳐짐

□ Agra area (4 hours one way from Delhi)
○ Taj Mahal
-The Taj Mahal is located along the Yamuna River, east of the Agra New Town.
Sha Jahan, king of the Mughal Empire, gave birth to his 15th child, 1629
In honor of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631
Started to build and completed in 1653, 22 years later
-Designed by Iranian Ustad Isa
20,000 artisans from Turkey, Italy and France
Participate in construction.
* Use of 1,000 elephants to transport construction materials
-The huge front door 300m wide and 530m long is made of red sandstone, and the arch of the front door
As you advance, you will see a typical Mughal-style garden and fountain with a waterway in a large yard.

○ Agra Fort(아그라 성)
- 야무나 강변에 위치한 아그라 성은 1565년 무굴제국의
악바르 황제가 건설하기 시작하였고, 그의 손자인 샤 자
한에 의해 부분적인 추가 공사가 완성 됨. 악바르 시대 때
이 성은 단순한 군사 요새였으나, 손자 샤 자한은 내부에
아름다운 건축물들을 추가로 만들어 자신의 궁으로 사용
- 성벽은 2.5km 길이로 성을 감싸고 있으며, 그 밖은 10m 넓
이의 해자로 둘러싸여 있음 (06:00～18:00 개장)
○ Agra Fort (Agra Castle)
-Agra Castle, located on the banks of the Yamuna River, was built by the Mughal Empire in 1565.
Emperor Akbar began to build, and his grandson Shah Ja
Partial additional work was completed by Han. In Akbar's time
This castle was a simple military fortress, but his grandson Shah Jahan was inside
Create additional beautiful buildings and use them as your own palace
-The wall is 2.5km long and covers the castle, and the outside is 10m wide.

○ Pathepur Sikri(승리의 도시)
- 무굴 제국의 악바르에 의해 만들어진 도시인 파테푸르
시크리는 아그라에서 자이뿌르 방향으로 37 Km 떨어진
곳으로, 1573년의 구자라트 전쟁 승리를 기념해서 이름
붙인 도시
- 이 도시는 악바르가 성자(세이크 살림 치스티)의 예언대로
아들을 얻은 기쁨으로 성자가 거주하는 이곳에 대규모
성을 건설. 이 후 16년 동안 무굴제국의 수도로 지정함.
- 그 후 무굴제국은 라호르를 거쳐 아그라를 수도로 이전하였으며, 승리의 도시는 용수
공급이 원활하지 않아 수도 및 도시로서의 기능을 하지 못한 채 황폐한 도시로 변모함.

○ Pathepur Sikri (City of Victory)
-Patepur, a city built by Akbar of the Mughal Empire
Sikri is 37 Km away from Agra towards Jaipur.
To the place, name in commemoration of the victory of the Gujarat War in 1573
Pasted city
-This city is according to the prophecy of Akbarga saint (Sheik Salim Chisti)
With the joy of having a son, a large-scale
Build a castle. It was designated as the capital of the Mughal Empire for 16 years.
-After that, the Mughal Empire moved Agra to the capital via Lahore, and the city of victory was Yongsu.
Due to poor supply, the city was transformed into a desolate city without functioning as a capital or city.
